UTEC is a venture capital fund affiliated with The University of Tokyo. With approximately $800 million under management, they are currently investing from their fifth fund, which began in 2021 with $300 million. UTEC focuses on series B startups in quantum computing, including Oxford Quantum Circuits. They aim to support entrepreneurs and researchers in building technology-driven companies that benefit society. UTEC has invested in over 100 startups across Japan, the US, Europe, Southeast Asia, and India.
